My Publications

Tisian Nerys

[Sophie’s Sneeze]

(Gwasg Gomer / Gomer Press1998)

My first published
work. It is in Welsh, a fully illustrated children’s book for ages 6-12.

Fox in Town

(Book Guild Ltd)

Fox in Town was published by Book Guild Ltd. It is in English and has only a few
illustrations – with a map- and was aimed at an older audience, children, 9-12.

Cracks, Doors, Windows and a Story-Telling Tree

(Balboa Press, 2019 and Rushmore Press,2020 )

This was a new departure for me: adult fiction.

These three short stories share an important theme—that learning and growth balances life’s pain and suffering and that the harmony of inner and outer leads not only to truths but also to peace and light and real happiness.

Visits, Prisons, Freedom and a Funny Little Hill

(Rushmore Press, 2020)

This is a continuation of
themes and ideas close to my heart.

These three new stories are moving, heart-warming and full of hope. They are beautifully written tales of exploration and understanding; of destruction, rebuilding and redemption.

Alpha and Omega

(Balboa Press, 2024)

Alpha and Omega explores humour in my homage to my parents and revisits some older stories, too. Again, the themes of spirituality – a bringing together some of Buddhist, Christian and environmental issues and ideas - are opened up.

The Adventures of Sheila the Spider

(Balboa Press, 2025)

The Adventures of Sheila the Spider is a children’s book, for older juniors: 8-12 and is available now.

Sheila is a story which resonates with young readers concerned about the environment.  It's a captivating and heart-warming tale of freedom, self discovery and resilience.  It's also fun!
